The Mantle Did Not Make the Bushveld Platinum

Geology says a mantle plume delivered the Bushveld's platinum. The osmium isotopes say it came from an asteroid — and so did the PGE at Vredefort and Sudbury.

Corrects the mantle plume model for the Bushveld Complex PGE mineralization: the osmium isotope fingerprint is chondritic, not mantle-derived.
Corrects: Schoenberg et al. (1999) EPSL 172:49–62; McCandless et al. (1999) EPSL 176:235–244; the prevailing plume model for Bushveld genesis.

The Missing Centuries Were Never Missing

Illig says Otto III and Pope Sylvester II invented 297 years of history. The calendar math is wrong. But the forgeries were real — just not the ones he identified.

Corrects the Phantom Time Hypothesis: the Gregorian 10-day correction counts from the Council of Nicaea (325 CE), not from 1 CE. No centuries are missing. But Illig was right about one thing — power was rewriting the record.
Corrects: Heribert Illig, Das erfundene Mittelalter (1996); and the popular conspiracy that Otto III fabricated the Carolingian period.

The Wow! Signal Was Not Explained

Headlines said the Wow! Signal was solved. The paper never claimed it was. And the corrected data makes the maser hypothesis harder, not easier.

Corrects every headline claiming the Wow! Signal was 'explained' or 'solved' by the 2024–25 Arecibo maser hypothesis.
Corrects: Méndez et al. (2024) Arecibo Wow! I; Méndez et al. (2025) Arecibo Wow! II; and the subsequent press cycle.
